Richmond Hill Community Theatre Chair Kristin Martin presented the Ashlee W. Farris Memorial Thespian-Scouting Patch to 14 Girl Scouts on Saturday, September 10th at the Bottoms Building.
The Patch was inspired by the late Ashlee W. Farris who loved Theatre and the Girl Scouts. Ashlee was involved with the Richmond Hill Community Theatre for 10 years as an Actress, Producer, Director, and finally as President.
Ashlee was involved in Girl Scouts from the time she was a young girl. According to her daughter Kayleigh Farris,  “After I was born, she dedicated about 18 years to the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia in many ways, from being a cookie mom, chaperoning on trips, to being a Leader and a Co-Leader for my troop and for others.”
To earn the Patch, the Girl Scouts attended classes in Auditioning, Choreography, Costuming, Makeup, Sound, and Lights taught by the Community Theatre Board of Directors and Company Members.
