The Advocacy team at the Georgia Association of REALTORS® is looking to hire a legislative intern for the 2024 Legislative Session!

Responsibilities would include: Reviewing First Readers, which give an overview into what bills and resolutions were introduced the previous day, requesting bill copies from the Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the House, monitoring the House and Senate bill hoppers for recently introduced bills, monitoring relevant House and Senate committees including attending committee meetings and taking notes, assisting the Lobby Team in scheduling meetings with legislators or legislative staffers, and assist in monitoring votes on the House and Senate floors to keep our team aware of conversations taking place in addition to bills being passed or defeated.

We want our intern to have an engaging educational experience, so we strive to ensure that they have the opportunity to fully understand the legislative process while also learning our policy priorities as an association.
