On May 30th, 2025, the Richmond Hill Historical Society hosted a truly unforgettable evening at the Ford Field and River Club in celebration of a major milestone—the 100th anniversary of Henry Ford’s legacy in Richmond Hill. The Centennial Celebration Soiree, part of the Society’s biannual Ford Legacy Gala series, drew guests from across the region for a night steeped in history, elegance, and community spirit.

Guests enjoyed exclusive access to the historic winter estate of Henry and Clara Ford, taking part in private architectural tours, live music, dancing under the stars, a champagne toast, and curated culinary offerings. With a lively wine pull, silent auction, and opportunities to mix and mingle, the night was both a heartfelt tribute and a festive fundraiser.

All proceeds supported the Richmond Hill Historical Society’s mission to preserve the legacy of the Fords and protect the region’s rich cultural history. The Centennial Soiree was more than a celebration—it was a once-in-a-century experience.
