(Bryan County, Ga.) United Way of the Coastal Empire is partnering with the Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) to offer a complimentary clinic on Thursday, May 2, to assist Bryan County residents with a range of civil legal issues. Ask A Lawyer Day will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bryan County United Way/Family Connections Building, located at 9611 Ford Avenue in Richmond Hill (directly behind the library).
Attorneys from Georgia Legal Services Program’s Savannah Regional Office will be available to provide advice to individuals on topics such as housing and landlord-tenant issues, domestic violence, SNAP/Food Stamps, Medicaid, wills/estates, unemployment, custody/guardianship, and other areas.
There is no charge for the advice and services provided through the clinic or for other GLSP services.
Qualifying individuals will have the opportunity to meet with attorneys from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM to gather information and advice about these issues and other legal questions. This program will be open to all low-income individuals and eligible seniors in Bryan County.
Appointments are recommended, but walk-ups will be welcomed. To make an appointment, individuals should call the United Way Bryan County office at 912-651-7752.
