Richmond Hill, GA (February 6, 2024) – SD Gunner Fund announces its 4th Annual Clay Shoot scheduled for Saturday, February 24, 2024.  The event will be held at 17 South Rod and Gun Club in Fleming, GA.  The primary mission of the Clay Shoot is to generate funds for SD Gunner Fund’s service and therapy dog training and advocacy program, benefiting local military families, first responders, and children with disabilities.

Attendees can anticipate a day filled with friendly competition, camaraderie, and a whole lot of fun, all in support of SD Gunner Fund’s incredible mission.   Event sponsors include OCD Renovations and Country Financial.

The Clay Shoot tournament begins at 8 a.m. with registration at 17 South Rod and Gun Club. Welcome swag bags, lunch, top shooter prizes, and special custom auction items will be part of the event and so much more!

This annual event is an opportunity for our community to come together in support of SD Gunner Fund’s mission that truly changes lives,” said Britnee Kinard, Executive Director of SD Gunner Fund.  “Through the funds raised, we aim to continue providing service and therapy dogs to veterans, first responders, and children, offering them the companionship and support they need to thrive.  The community’s participation in this event means the world to us and helps fuel or mission!”

SD Gunner Fund is a Savannah-area nonprofit that has trained service dogs for 103 veterans, first responders, and children, and 13 therapy dogs that provide animal-assisted therapy for more than 150,000 children annually.
