Richmond Hill, GA – Lamar Smith Signature Development and Kitchen Design Solutions (KDS) are excited to announce the groundbreaking ceremony for their latest Richmond Hill Project. The groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 11am at the future site of the KDS building on Thunderbird Drive in Richmond Hill.

Ford Park of Commerce is part of the 222-acre Richmond Place Master Planned community that Smith began developing in the late 90’s. Consisting of 400 single family homes and over 120,000 sq ft of retail, restaurants and services at the Richmond Village that includes a Super Kroger. This is the final phase of development in the first ‘Live, Work, Play Community’ in the area. Residents that Live in this master planned community can literally walk to work in Ford Park of Commerce and walk to play while dining in one of the many restaurants in Richmond Village.

Scheduled to be completed in Fall 2024, the new KDS location will serve as the main corporate office and logistics center. The new Richmond Hill location will have a gorgeous showroom and support our satellite offices in Hilton Head, Beaufort, with offices opening soon in Bluffton and Isle of Hope.
