The Richmond Hill Historical Society is excited to welcome Assistant Professor of History at Georgia Southern, Dr. Bennett Parten, as our speaker for our May lecture!

Dr. Parten will be discussing his latest book, Somewhere Toward Freedom – A Groundbreaking Account of Sherman’s March and the Story of America’s Largest Emancipation. The evening will feature a shorter lecture followed by a fireside Q&A session with the author.
