Our goal in starting Love One in 2013 was to help ONE child find a forever family and for ONE family to have the support they needed to make the journey less challenging. We had adopted and knew the journey was full of bumps but was achievable with lots of prayers and people walking with us. We wanted to create a tribe (LOVE ONE) for families, so the walk wasn’t so lonely. This dream shifted to include foster care and orphans who would never go home– which is now our umbrella of operations. Love One supports families who want to adopt and foster and we also have a few opportunities to support orphans in other countries who have unique needs that we can meet (feeding programs, orphanage needs, or other specific requests) through established relationships with partners overseas.

We have now helped welcome home 200 children into their forever families and we are humbled at how the Lord has used Love One to grow adoptive families in HIS name. These adoptions have been via foster care, infant adoption, and international adoption, and have ranged from infants to teenagers and from one child to seven siblings being adopted at one time. We have been amazed at how the Lord has connected us to these families and how their stories and children have been a part of this journey. It is easy to see how ONE Adoption has the synergy and momentum to create 200. We are proof of this! Stepping out to say yes to adoption and serving families has been so rewarding, and is the icing on the cake. Well, we’ve decided not to celebrate with cake but with snow cones, as we are in Georgia and it does get HOT here. Join us as we celebrate our 200th adoption on July 16, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 at JF Gregory Park in Richmond Hill at the Pavilion. Drop in if you are one of our current or former foster or adoptive families and join us for a Snow Cone and games at the pavilion. If you are interested in meeting and talking to a foster or adoptive family to get your questions answered because you also want to foster or adopt, join us. If you are one of our church partners, 30’s club families, or a part of our Century Club, we want you there! If your family is one of these 200 adoptions, we want you to celebrate with us! This is an unforgettable time and we’d love to see you!
