Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the oldest civil rights organization in the nation. The Bryan County, GA NAACP Branch 5648 hosted a scholarship golf tournament today to support their Higher Education Scholarship program, assisting students who strive for academic and community excellence. Scholarships up to $2,000 were awarded to graduating high school seniors attending Richmond Hill High School and Bryan County High School.
