RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (Aug. 12, 2024) – ExperCARE Health – an award-winning, on-demand healthcare company with 13 locations serving patients across Georgia and Alabama – is thrilled to announce the appointment of Tricia Howard, PA-C, MHS, DFAAPA as the company’s new Vice President of Advanced Practice Services (APPs). With 27 years of experience as a Physician Associate (PA) and a robust background in healthcare education and administration, Howard brings unparalleled expertise and leadership to ExperCARE Health.

In her new role, Howard will serve as a pivotal resource to ExperCARE’s exceptional team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), further enhancing the company’s commitment to delivering outstanding healthcare services. Her primary responsibilities will include developing comprehensive programs to ensure that ExperCARE’s team remains at the forefront of medical excellence, optimizing clinical workflows to enhance efficiency and to ensure the highest quality of medical service delivery, and driving strategic initiatives to address shortages in traditional preventative care while maintaining the highest quality of patient experience and medical care.

Howard’s extensive clinical experience includes positions at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston Nephrology Associates, Medical Associates of Savannah, Georgia Regional Hospital and ExperCARE Urgent Care. She is also a former Medical Claims Reviewer at UnitedHealthcare and was awarded the prestigious UnitedHealthCare Bravo Award in 2021 and 2022 for her exceptional contributions.

Over the course of her career, Howard also held several key academic and administrative positions at South University in Savannah, Ga., including serving as Assistant Program Director of the Physician’s Assistant Program and Director of Pre-Clinical Education. She was honored as the Didactic Faculty Instructor of the Year for seven consecutive years.

Howard earned a B.A. in Biology from the College of Charleston as well as a B.S. in Physician Assistant and a Master of Health Science from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Medical Science program at Northern Arizona University.

She is actively involved in a number of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the National Kidney Foundation and the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants. Her contributions to numerous national and state conferences and publications in top medical journals further attest to her dedication to advancing healthcare.
