As September 11th approaches, we are eager to announce our annual “Richmond Hill Remembers” service, a solemn occasion when we reflect upon the events of 9/11. This moving event, held at J. F. Gregory Park in town, serves as an opportunity to honor the memory of the fallen from 9/11 and to honor the sacrifice and service of our first responders and rescue personnel.
In recognition of these brave men and women, we are relocating Bethel’s Sunday Morning service to the park and extending an open invitation to our entire community.
With deep gratitude and admiration, we hope to communicate our appreciation to the local Police Department, Sheriff’s Office, Fire Departments, and Emergency Services. These exceptional public servants, the backbone of our community, routinely place their lives on the line. Their bravery and dedication remain unparalleled, and it is our earnest desire to ensure that their sacrifices are appropriately acknowledged.
We warmly invite you to stand with us on Sunday, September 10th, at 10:30 am as we gather at J. F. Gregory Park for the commemorative “Richmond Hill Remembers.” We’ll enjoy patriotic music, a Bible message, and a moving ceremony.
