The event is set for 4 p.m. Monday\, Oct. 21 at the Park in North Bryan County and will include a visit from Adrian Peterson\, a former Georgia Southern University stand-out who enjoyed an eight-year career with the Chicago Bears before deciding to funnel his energy and time into community outreach efforts. His motto\, “Pray\, Perform\, Persist\,” has become a mantra for the youth-based programs and initiatives he brings to various communities\, including Bryan County.
