Fifteen songs have been selected to form the 2021 Arts on the Coast Annual Exhibit Playlist\, a list that includes only music performed\, arranged\, written\, composed\, produced\, and/or created by a music artist from Georgia. The selection features a wide variety of genre: rock\, jazz\, pop\, and R&B\, to soul\, country and folk. Artists shall create an original work of art that depicts a song/artist and/or its various aspects (lyrics\, melodies\, story\, etc.) from the playlist\, to visually interpret the obvious to the abstract\, from the down and dirty\, to the sublime.

The selection features a wide variety of genre: rock\, jazz\, pop\, and R&B\, to soul\, country and folk. Artists shall create an original work of art that depicts a song/artist and/or its various aspects (lyrics\, melodies\, story\, etc.) from the playlist\, to visually interpret the obvious to the abstract\, from the down and dirty\, to the sublime.

DESCRIPTION:Experience our premier event of the year – an annual tradition since 1979! Experience an entertaining 30-minute guided candlelit tour through time with stops at the blacksmith’s shop\, hospital\, powder magazine\, barracks jail\, and more. Watch out – there may be a sneak attack by Union ships in the river! \nTours will begin at approximately 6:40 pm and start every 10 minutes until 10 pm. Tours take approximately 30 minutes. When registering\, you will select a time slot available. \nSpace is limited\, and spots sell out quickly. \nCost: $25 per person (children two and under are free) \nTickets are on sale now. Call the park office at 912-727-2339 or drop in at 3894 Fort McAllister Road in Richmond Hill to reserve your space. \nTickets are not available for purchase online. \nMore about Fort McAllister: Located close to I-95 south of Savannah on the banks of the Ogeechee River\, this scenic park showcases the best-preserved earthwork fortification of the Confederacy. The earthworks were attacked seven times by Union ironclads but did not fall until 1864—ending General William T. Sherman’s “March to the Sea.” Visitors can explore the grounds with cannons\, a hot shot furnace\, bombproof barracks\, palisades\, and more\, while a Civil War museum contains artifacts\, a video\, and a gift shop. \nNestled among giant live oaks\, Spanish moss\, and salt marsh\, this park is a beautiful location for camping\, fishing\, boating\, and picnicking. Seven cabins sit on stilts near the marsh\, surrounded by palm trees and palmettos. The shaded campground is bordered by tidal Redbird Creek\, a boat ramp\, a fishing dock\, and a nature trail. A large picnic area offers river views and playgrounds\, while another boat ramp provides access to the Ogeechee River.
